Adam Qutaishat is a music and theatre professional located in the Milwaukee, WI area. He holds a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Adam specializes in musical theatre but also works in classical, jazz, choral, and instrumental music.
As an actor Adam has performed with Next Act Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Music Theatre of Madison, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, All in Productions, Windfall Theatre, American Gothic Performing Arts Festival, the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, Opera on Tap - Wisconsin, Milwaukee Entertainment Group, and Schmitz and Giggles Productions. As a singer Adam has performed with Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses national tour. He has also served as the tenor section leader in the Chant Claire Chamber Choir and has soloed with many groups throughout Wisconsin. As a designer, Adam has designed lights, sound, sets, and more across the Midwest ranging from amateur and school productions to professional work. As a composer Adam has written for choral, instrumental, and electronic music. His piece Snowy Owls was premiered in 2016 and his incidental music for Romeo + Juliet was commissioned in 2015. His music can also be heard on the podcasts WAIP and The All-Arcadians, where he is the lead composer. Adam served as choral director of Grafton High School for three and a half years. He has directed and music directed musicals and operas for many theatres. He taught privately through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Brookfield Center for the Arts, Wauwatosa School of Music, and Maestro Makers and now runs his own teaching business: Q Music, LLC. |
