​     Adam Qutaishat
Performer/Teacher/Technician/Director/Composer

Adam Qutaishat is a music and theatre professional located in the Milwaukee, WI area. He holds a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Adam specializes in musical theatre and choral music, but also works in classical, jazz, and instrumental music. 

As an actor Adam has performed with All in Productions, the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival, the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, Opera on Tap Milwaukee, and premiered the role of Christopher Melody in the World Premiere of American Spring.

As a singer Adam has performed with UWSP Opera Workshop, UWSP Choral Union, UWSP Concert Choir, Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, Opera On Tap - Milwaukee, Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and more. He has also served as the Tenor Section Leader in the Chant Claire Chamber Choir.

As a violist he has served as principal for the UWSP Symphony Orchestra and a section violist for the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra. He also performs a wide variety of other instruments.

As a technician and has served as a lighting designer, sound designer, audio engineer, carpenter, electrician, technical director, and puppet master in productions across the Midwest ranging from amateur and school productions to professional work.

As a composer Adam has written for choral, instrumental, and electronic music. His piece Snowy Owls was premiered in 2016 and his incidental music for Romeo + Juliet was commissioned in 2015. He also enjoys arranging and orchestrating.

Adam served as choral director of Grafton High School for three and a half years. He has directed and music directed musicals and operas for several theatres. He taught privately through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Brookfield Center for the Arts, Wauwatosa School of Music, and Maestro Makers and now runs his own teaching business: Q Music, LLC.
