Specializing in storytelling with a purpose, activism, and bringing musicianship to performance and direction, Adam has worked nationally and internationally with dozens of professional theatres and ensembles. Highlights include Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Writers Theatre, Music Theatre of Madison, Auckland Live, Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, and Renaissance Theatreworks.
As an educator, Adam holds a BM in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Following graduation, Adam work as the choral director at Grafton High School before moving to working for private studios including the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Brookfield Center for the Arts, and Pink Umbrella Theatre. Adam currently offers private coaching for Actors, Singers, and Actor-Musicians. As a composer Adam has written for musical theatre, choral, instrumental, and electronic music. Adam's catalogue includes commissions of operas, musicals, and concert pieces performed around the country. As a writer, Adam has created and written audio fiction podcasts, plays, librettos, and musical theater books.
